Allan Baros – Communications Specialist

Allan Baros is a U.S. Army veteran and passionate, award-winning marketing and communications professional with over 10 years of brand management, public affairs, and strategic communications planning experience.

At Powell Strategies, Allan is part of a team that supports the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). Combining both his military and communications experience, Allan supports the team’s efforts to develop various communication, marketing and engagement strategies and toolkits for VETS’ programs and resources that serve veterans, military spouses, employers and caregivers.

During his 20 plus years in the military, he produced and edited more than 1,000 communication products and materials, including press releases, media requests, video packages, 360-degree virtual reality videos, magazines (including layout & design), print products and more. Before transitioning out of the military in 2019, Allan’s last assignment was with the U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he served as the Senior Public Affairs Chief.

Allan earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from Granite State College and is currently working on a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

When he is not working, Allan loves to spend time with his family, hunting, fishing, and participating in walking events that support charities.

The small businesses in this group represent a total of $240M in revenues and over 3,000 jobs from a broad range of industries.
