SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, Military Sealift Command, and the United States Marine Corps compete their service requirements amongst the SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. Powell Strategies is a prime contractor on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 5-year IDIQ contract, Rapid Communications Services and Support for Sudden and Ongoing Environmental Urgent and Emerging Issues Technical Assistance Support by the Centers. This contract will provide direct support to the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), Office of Communication (OC) with integrated marketing and communication services to meet its environmental health communications goals. The IDIQ has five major tasks: (1) Communications Planning; (2) Communications Support; (3) Evaluation Research and Monitoring; (4) Social Media and Digital Communications Support; and (5) Responding to Urgent and Emerging Issues.
