Patricia Haigler is a project manager and health communications professional with experience supporting large-scale, complex healthcare initiatives for the federal government.
Patricia’s areas of expertise include strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, public awareness campaigns, and translating technical subject matter for diverse audiences.
As a management consultant, Patricia has worked on high-profile federal projects focused on health policy, healthcare transformation and innovation, health information technology, and healthcare quality improvement. She provided strategic communications and change management support for two of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ largest enterprise initiatives: Electronic Health Record Modernization and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Modernization. She has also managed projects for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Environmental Protection Agency.
At Powell Strategies, Patricia serves as Project Manager for the VHA Strategic Policy Council and Strategic Communications Services for the VHA Office of Policy and Planning.
Patricia earned a Master’s degree in Communication from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georgia State University. She is also a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner.
