As a part of Powell Strategies, Ksenia conducts sentiment analysis to aid timely decision making for Department of Defense clients. She is passionate about finding new ways to use social data to identify trends and indicators that can drive innovative solutions.
Prior to joining Powell Strategies, Ksenia studied International Studies and Multilateral Diplomacy abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. She focused on examining intergovernmental and supranational organizations’ strategies for and in response to modern challenges in the international system. Ksenia also worked as a Russian Language Instructor at the US Army Special Warfare Education Group and interned at the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute.
Ksenia earned her B.A. in Peace, War, and Defense and International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside of the office, Ksenia loves with hiking, nature and the mountains and hikes in the Washington DC and Virginia area on the weekends.
